The WMRHS is a non-profit historical society located in Union Bridge, Maryland. The purpose of the society is to promote the preservation of the history of the Western Maryland Railway in particular, and railroads in general. The society engages in several activities to enlighten and entertain the public, including the operation of a museum located in a former WM station building in Union Bridge, and the HO Scale modular model railroad display.   The society is also seeking to reconstruct the N scale museum display layout which was sacrificed in the 1997 museum renovation project.  Interested individuals should contact society President Dennis Wertz for more information.
