Mishap with 4028.
February 21st saw a mishap in the M. Leon Agne engine facility involving B&O GP-40 #4028.
Fortunately, no one was hurt, and damage was minor. The picture speaks for itself....
Low air pressure, and failure to set the hand brake are being blamed for the errant
runaway of 4028.
Roundhouse Forman Ken Mazer and Road Foreman Grant Becker discuss changes to operating policy in an attempt to prevent similar incidents from occurring.
